This might be old news but I haven’t seen it posted anywhere else and it is useful to old time avr/atmel fans.
A user by the name of crazyc over at psx-scene posted source to his version of the psgroove that can run on Atmel MCUs that don’t support lufa and whats extremely special about it is, the entire code is under 8kb (5938 bytes for 3.15 PL3 Shellcode) which means it fits perfectly onto a AVR-Stick or a breadboarded attiny85. Also it makes use of the internal PLL oscillator so even the hardware design is tiny.
His version doesn’t have timing issues (UART Required) like timwu’s version and can be easily flashed to any breadboarded atmel MCUs without the need of a USB->Serial converter.
Keep in mind tho the avr-stick CANNOT be programmed via usb YOU NEED A SPI PROGRAMMER TO USE THE AVR-STICK AS A PSGROOVE DEVICE!
